I must agree with Wolfeatsworld's comment. This game would have sold more copies had there been other ways to try it or purchase it. I can think of Game Tree Online and Mac Game Store that would have been a perfect fit and killed 2 birds with one stone. It would have offered a 60 minute trial and another avenue for sales without the scam store run by Apple. I hope the authors of this game are listening and watching.I took the chance and purchased this game. I originally intended to buy the game for someone else but that wasn't possible due to Apple's crazy policies and strict control. The App Store needs a serious overhaul and a rethink. My review of The Baconing.I was expecting a lot less for this game and was pleasantly surprised how rich the details and experience was. In many facets The Baconing reminded me of Machinarium. It's a nicely laid out click adventure world. The pace of the game is as quick as you want it to be during your explorations. The quest line starts off singular and later becomes forked offering side challenges to help improve your character's abilities. Some of the spoken and audio dialogue is funny. It all follows the same quirky style throughout the game. The best way to describe The Baconing would be to stir into a pot the main character from the American Dad cartoon and mix in Machinarium and Diablo with a touch of WarCraft. The Baconing is a game you will either love or hate it. I hope if there is another game from Hothead Games it will follow this game's depth and consider adding a female version of DeathSpank as a choice for the character. I think it would add more zest to the game and give people a reason to play it again by offering 2 zany characters with different dialogues and abilities. The Baconing was worth the money I paid. It is just too bad the only way to buy it today is by playing Russian Roulette on the App Store. This is the first purchase of 25 purchases from the App Store I actually thought was worth the price.

Maps helps you find your way without compromising your privacy. Personalized alerts and suggestions, like letting you know when it’s time to leave for your next appointment, are created using data on your device. And the data that is sent to Maps while you use the app — such as search terms, navigation routing, and traffic information — is associated with random identifiers instead of your Apple ID.
